So we are in the midst of the quarterly struggle with what to wear, when summer days have long gone but winter hasn’t quite arrived yet.
With the suns occasional appearance over the last week or so; it has done nothing to mask the fresh chill in the air. Whilst I don’t relish in the cooler climates; Its definitely time to pack away the summer floaty florals and make space for the new season updates with muted backgrounds and splashes of bright and decorative petals. Invest in a chunky knit and knee high boots and you will be autumn wardrobe ready.
There are so many great options out there at the moment, see how i have styled a High Street look versus a designer look below…
Team this Mango dress with some light-coloured knee high boots, cross body mock croc Zara bag, woven Mango belt and layer over a chunky knit for an effortless trans-seasonal outfit.
So whilst this designer look might not suit everyones budget, i thought it was a great way to show you how to style lighter toned prints. Here i have teamed with The Row cream leather ankle boots, Victoria Beckham cross body bag and stunning Soru waterfall earrings. Layer over a mid-calf length fitted camel coat for a more formal look.
Shop these items on the carousel below and let me know what you think of this seasons florals in the comments…
Happy styling,
